Hoof hardener for equine use (single-component): strengthens and protects both shod and barefoot hooves. Patented formula: combines a hardening agent with a plasticizer to ensure strength without brittleness. Internal action: works at the molecular level by promoting keratin cross-linking to reinforce the hoof structure from within, without forming surface films. Effective in wet and dry conditions: helps maintain natural moisture balance, preventing softening or cracking. Recommended uses: ideal for weak, cracked, brittle, or thin hooves, as well as for sensitive soles to prevent abrasion or frequent shoe loss.Application: apply to the underside of the hoof and the sole, avoiding the frog and coronary band.Frequency: once daily for one week, then twice weekly for ongoing maintenance. Important: if the hoof has been treated with oils or greases in the past weeks, clean first with acetone. Does not seal the hoof – allows natural hoof tissue respiration. Durable in all conditions – will not wash off in rain or mud, thanks to its deep absorption into the horn.
